Hi Everyone,
I've been wanting to start a blog for at least a year! I wanted a way to share my views without visiting a multitude of websites to respond to topics that caught my interest. A friend sent me the link to Blogger a while ago, and tonight just seemed like the night to start. Forgive the simplicity of my blog for now. I'll enhance it after I learn a bit more about how to do that.
I'm just an average person who wants a way to express myself.
Just so you know what my blog will be about:
It will be my thoughts on whatever catches my eye and/or ear from various sources - news, friends, public figures, public issues and debates,beliefs and values, and more. Some days it will be light in nature and other days it will be very heavy. It will also include questions I have that maybe you can answer for me because there are many things happening in our country and in the world today that I just don't understand.
I welcome suggestions, criticisms, and basically anything you'd like to share as long as they're respectful. I know that some of my topics will cause readers to disagree with me. That's ok. I disagree with a lot of what I hear and read which is the main reason for this effort. In the end, my hope is that we will all learn something and more importantly, learn to really hear another person's differing point of view even if it doesn't agree with our own.
